Sam Shen, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist practicing in New Jersey with over ten years of clinical experience. He earned his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University, MN, and has since dedicated his career to helping patients of all ages—from
pediatrics to seniors—address a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and complex cases.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Sam discovered his passion for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine while completing an exchange program at the University of Minnesota, where he was inspired by a close friend studying in the field of Chinese Medicine. In 2013, he committed to pursuing this path professionally. After completing three years of intensive training, he relocated to the East Coast for expanded professional opportunities and has continued to serve the community there ever since.
Sam views his role as a practitioner as a meaningful journey shared with patients, colleagues, and families. He is committed to creating a supportive and results-driven environment, striving to ensure that every patient leaves feeling better than ever after each visit to Paragon.
Outside the clinic, Sam enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors—especially camping, hiking, and whitewater rafting. He is also passionate about continuing education and frequently travels overseas to further refine his skills and deepen his knowledge in the field.
